Downstairs
We have recently renovated the cottage and have put a lot of time, love and energy into making it a cosy home away from home. Downstairs the lounge / dining / kitchen area are open plan and a door leads out to the secured outside courtyard. We have a lovely log burner, original exposed beams which we believe date back to ship wrecks in the 1800 off the coast of Whitby. There is a large TV, wifi, amazon Alexa and a selection of books / dvds and games for those rainy days. There is a dining table for four people, and then a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and everything else you could possibly need!
Luxury bathroom
The bathroom has been completely refitted and we have created a luxury large walk in shower, fully tiled floor area with fitted sink and toilet plus plenty of storage. There is a sleek towel radiator to keep you cosy! The bathroom is downstairs in the cottage, and is accessed through a tiled area off the lounge to keep everything separate - and provide you some extra drying space if you need it!
Main bedroom
Our main bedroom has a cosy double bed and has been decorated with designer fabrics and paints. We have two chandeliers in this room as well as a window seat, dressing table area and plenty of mirrors. There are two large sash windows giving the room plenty of light, as well as black out roman blinds to ensure you get a good nights sleep! There is an echo dot in the room if you like some music to soothe you off to sleep
Second bedroom
Our second bedroom is at the back of the cottage and overlooks the courtyard / rooftops of Knaresborough. This room can be made up into a twin bed room or a king size bed room - please just let us know when booking, Again, decorated with designer fabrics and paints, with a dressing table area and plenty of bed side storage
Outside
To the rear of the cottage we have a partially covered courtyard garden which is entirely enclosed. There is a little table and chairs, a bbq and seating on the benches under the covered area. On a sunny day, we think this might be the warmest spot in the whole of Knaresborough! The front of the cottage faces a quiet road and there is free on street parking outside the cottage.
